Christina's Corner // A Laundry Room Should Function For You
Published in 10.9.2020
It's Time to Talk About Laundry Rooms!
Laundry rooms are often one of the smallest, most awkward spaces in your house. Because of this, it is often one of the hardest rooms to organize. So, I’m here to help you navigate the best ways to transform your laundry room both for style and function. As usual, Modular Closets is here to save the day with their laundry room systems so let’s dive into my first tip of this series!
This is Going to Require Some Imagination
This tip may seem a little odd, but trust me, it helps. Take a step back and figure out what’s missing. Look at your space and think about all of the steps you take while doing laundry. Ask your self things like:

- Do I have storage for all of the detergents and stain removal tools?
- Do I want space in my laundry room to fold clothes?
- Do I need a rack or bar to hang things up to dry?
- Do I plan on storing anything in here?
It’s the questions like these that will help you to determine how you can style your laundry room to better suit your needs.
Function and Aesthetics Go Hand-in-Hand
Organization is all about aesthetics meeting functionality. A pretty laundry room doesn’t mean it’s functional. So, make sure that the step you take while designing your organization system lead to a space that works for you. A beautiful laundry room is a biproduct of organization.
I, of course, suggest that you utilize the customization of Modular Closets to complete your laundry room. With many accessories like a drying rod that you can install in your system, you can build the exact storage that you need. No two people are the same, so don’t settle for a laundry room that doesn’t do what you need it to do.

What Does Your Laundry Room Look Like?
