Modular Community // Cynthia Bailey's Closet Transformation!
Published in 1.23.2021
There are few things that we love more than collaborating on room transformations. We believe that every project that we work on is just as important as the next, but there are some transformations that stick with us. Today, we are going to be talking about one that will live in our minds for a long time: Cynthia Bailey-Hill’s garage transformation.
Garage Makeover!
For those of you who aren’t native to the Atlanta, Georgia area, Cynthia is a cast member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta but she is better known as a model and entrepreneur.
We teamed up with organizing gurus Sasha and Samantha of A Lavish Touch to completely transform Cynthia’s cluttered garage into a beautiful and functional space.
The Garage in Question…
We are sure that some of you remember the garage project that we worked on with the McClure Family. If you recall, their garage was in pretty bad shape, but the clean up and organization was fairly manageable. Cynthia’s garage on the other hand, needed a lot of help.
Cynthia even stated that she had intentions of organizing the space a bit before help arrived but became overwhelmed and gave up. It’s important to remember that you can always ask for help, even if you are a fashion mogul. So, Sasha and Samantha came in to inspect the space and come up with an organization game plan.
Designing the Garage.
After an assessment of what Cynthia had in her garage, a list of things that she wanted from a garage makeover, and a few conversations about aesthetics, Sasha and Samantha approached us with a design concept and we took it and ran with it. Due to the amount of storage needed, we felt it was best to go with some closed storage solutions that would keep Cynthia’s garage looking clean and uncluttered while storing a ton of supplies and necessities. So, we decided to compose her garage units with our Vista Shelf Tower. These units come with adjustable, solid shelving options for sturdy and spacious storage. We added cabinet doors and some drawers to maintain the clutter-free look and that gave more than enough storage space for Sasha and Samantha to house Cynthia’s newly organized supplies.
Organizing the Chaos.
This was an “all hands on deck” situation to get the closet cleaned out, the items gone through, sorted, and then eventually rehomed in their new storage unit.
Cynthia had some help from two very familiar faces to Modular Closets: The McClure Twins! Ava and Alexis have worked with Sasha and Samantha before, so they were practically pros helping Cynthia clean out her garage!
Once the team got through organizing, it was time to assemble, organize, and reveal the new garage to Cynthia!
