I have a lot of shoes. Not so many that you could call it an obsession but it’s getting pretty close. As you can imagine, organizing my shoes in a limited space like my closet, especially before I got my Modular Closet System, was extremely difficult. I want to be able to see all the shoes and have them easily accessible. If they are all on the floor or stacked on top of each other, then it feels super cluttered and impossible to organize. 

Fortunately, Modular Closets has a solution. When you customize your closet, you can choose between solid or angled shelves in your unit. Either option is great for organizing your shoes! 

• Solid shelves hide the shoes a little more and are great if you want to add something else besides shoes on the same shelf.

• Angled shelves have a slight tilt to it, and make it easy to see all your shoes at once. Angled shelves give it that boutique look! 

Either way, your shoes will look neat and organized on either style shelf, and that is the most important thing! 

Always remember, your closet can be designed any way you like to fit your style and wardrobe. It really comes down to personal preference and what closet design you want to have. I have the angled shelves and it’s super easy for me to just walk into my closet and put together the perfect outfits because I can see everything that I need. 

Bonus Tip: If you need just a little more space to store your shoes, you can easily make room for an extra pair of shoes on the shelf with one simple move. Face one shoe in and one shoe out. That’s it! 

When choosing shelves for your closet, think about what is important to you in the way of organization. Do you want to display art or personal touches or do you want to display your shoes? Either way, you can make your closet work for you!
